- Sylvia ASome people make the mistake of lumping food from Nigeria as Nigerian food . There is no such thing as Nigerian food .There are over 150 ethnic groups in Nigeria each with its own cuisine .They all have one things in common deep flavour. Many people of Nigerian heritage, will agree that food is our language of love. I went into Calabar grill with low expectation .The space was clean and cozy . The food was great. We had the fish pepper soup, roasted tilapia and roasted plantain . It was flavourful , well spiced with authentic Nigerian spices . Service was superb and I will be going back for sure .
